Koala Opal Silver Proof Coin

The Perth Mint has released the very unique Koala Opal coin.

The coin is in a display case, a light turns on when the case is opened representing the moon shining down on the nocturnal koala.  The 1 oz silver and opal coin is accompanied by a colourful, beautifully designed packing box.  The Opal pieces are put together in the shape of a Koala in a tree.
